Our 50th Anniversary In appreciation of my wife. My lover, best friend, supporter, encourager, protector, and the love of my life. Some things I have loved about 50 years with my wife, Jo Ann. Most of these are very simple pleasures and might seem of little value to most, but are precious to me. The first signs of spring. May 20th, 2011 Title: Why There continues to be a word that bugs me continually. Well, it's not exactly the word why, but it has all to do withmotive. Why did I do that? Why did I say that? Why did I act like that, or, why did I do or say nothing at all? Why did I do something for someone? Did I really care, or did I do it because that's what I was supposed to? Why did I do a particular thing in my Christian service? Was it because I really have a deep love for God? Or, again, did I do it out of duty or to make myself look good in the eyes of other people? |
